Your new DoggieCool Summer Cooling Mat can be used indoors, outside, on the couch, in the kennel or the backseat of the car!
So it may get a little dirty from time to time.
To wash it you can either:
a) Hand wash with a gentle soap (diluted dish soap, or a diluted laundry soap) and hang dry
or
b) toss that bad boy into the washing machine, use a normal laundry detergent (i like to add in oxi-clean as well for extra power) and wash it on a cold cycle.
Then toss the now less badboy into the dryer, tumble dry low heat, to make him a good boy again :)
and by boy.. I've been referring to the mat, not your actual goodest boy.

How cool are our mats?
The DoggieCool Summer Mat is designed to passively remove heat from your pet's body for instant relief. This is due to our unique Arc-Tech lining which utilizes a fabric type called "ice silk", a nylon/polyester blend, embedded with mica, to naturally draw heat away from the body.
4-Layered Cooling Structure:
• The 100% nylon cooling side is scratch resistant and light, allowing the initial heat to move through it.
• The DoggieCool™ Arc-Tech "ice silk" layer is where the magic happens; preferentially drawing in heat from the body and exhausting it to the air around.
• 400 GSM Hollow Fiber, is a high-density cotton, designed to add a comfy layer for your pup. This also helps keep the mat's weight low, so its easy to carry and travel with!
• Crystal Velvet Fabric, this last layer is actually a reversible top layer. During the cooler winter months, you can use this mat to actually help keep your dog cozy, by laying the mat down with this softer side facing up. It doesn't interfere with the cooling ability and acts as a barrier if the ground is warm.

We've had a wicked Southwestern summer with my poor dog and cat wanted something to help them to stay cool. Naturally it's not ice cold but it is cold to the touch and it is a little cushiony placed near fan on their favorite spot.
